To generate a password, we highly recommend:
- Not using commonly used words or combination of commonly used words
- Using a password generator like LastPass or NordPass to generate a strong password
- Ensure that you reset your passwords regularly
- Ensure that the length of your password is at least 8 to 53 characters long and ensure that it includes special characters.
- Test your password strength to ensure that it is not easy to crack. You can use sites like Password Strength Checker to determine if your password is easy to crack.
- For extra peace of mind, ensure that you enable multi-factor or 2 factor authentication when authenticating against applications you access online.
